Habitat for Humanity-A New Friendship

We had a wonderful meeting with our friend Val Brinkley from Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties to discuss opportunities and how we can help the LGBTQ+ community in our area together. Habitat is doing a special Pride Build right here in St. Petersburg, and they are looking for a qualified LGBTQ+ family/individual in need. Many people have contacted us asking for housing assistance, advice, resources, and more, so we couldn't wait to share this news with you all!

If you are interested in learning more, check out their website here: https://www.habitatpinellas.org/specialty-builds/pride-build

By clicking on "apply to the program", you can find out if you qualify, and if so, you can fill out the Homeowner Pre-Qualification Form. Let them know that we referred you so we can continue to build this great relationship and help those in need!

Questions? Please contact Val Brinkley at vbrinkley@habitatpwp.org or (727) 536-4755 ext. 236

LGBTQ+ Housing Needs Assessment

This past summer, we officially launched our LGBTQ+ Housing Needs Assessment and we need your help! We are pushing this survey out to the public to get an understanding of the housing needs in Pinellas County. This anonymous 2-minute survey will help us better-understand and evaluate the needs of our community.

You can access the survey here

Please feel free to share the survey link with any of your friends, local contacts, or organizations who might be able to help spread the word.
